Moctails

Have you ever found yourself at a party as the designated driver and all you get to drink is a lackluster glass of orange juice or cola. If so , you probably need to read on as I have put together a concise guide for you. and you can find it at the Fisherman's Cove.

                                                              MOCTAIL

Moctails  is a non alcoholic drink which consist of a mixture of fruit juices , syrups or soft drinks. Moctails like fruit punches can be consumed by all those who relish flavourful drinks without alcohol.







Virgin Mojito

Mojito is basically  a alcohol based drink that has mint leaves , lemon juice (citrus flavours) and sugar. A mojito that does not have alcohol in it is a 'virgin mojito' and is categorized as a moctails.

Main Ingredients:

• sprite
• mint leaves 
• lemon                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

Ingredients:

sprite -300ml

lemon juice -4-5 tbsp

mint leaves -1\4 cups

sugar syrup -3tbsp

ice cubs -9-10

METHOD 

1-  prepare sugar syrup by heating 11\2 tbsp of sugar in 1\4 cup water on low to medium flame. let the sugar dissolve completely. allow to simmer for a less than half a minute. turn off flame and bring the sugar syrup to room temperature

2-  take a serving glass, add 7-8 fresh mint leaves, a tbsp of sugar syrup and a little more than a tbsp of lemon juice.  Use a muddler  or a spoon to gently crush or bruise the mint leaves.

3-  Slowly pour the chilled sprite into the glass till it almost reaches the brim and stir to mix

4-  The above recipe makes 3 glasses. Follow the same procedure (step 2 and 3) to make 2 more glasses of the moctail.
